Meet Our Lead Minister – Eric J. Herrera
Eric J. Herrera is the devoted Lead Minister of G’d Up Ministries, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience and a heart fully surrendered to God. A certified minister, proud husband and father, and passionate advocate for servant leadership, Eric leads with vision, humility, and unwavering faith.
Originally from the southwest part of Oklahoma, Eric is of Native American descent and a proud Comanche Nation tribal member. Raised in a strong Baptist family, his spiritual roots run deep, shaping his lifelong devotion to Christ and his commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive ministry space for people of all backgrounds.
Currently studying Psychology in Behavioral Health, Eric brings a unique perspective to ministry—blending spiritual wisdom with real-world insight into healing, purpose, and human connection. His mission is to develop leaders who are grounded in God and equipped to serve with strength and compassion.
Eric is also a business owner and serves on the Board of the Arthritis Foundation, reflecting his deep commitment to both community and kingdom impact. Whether he’s leading worship, guiding connect groups, or serving on the front lines of outreach, Eric believes in putting God first in everything, especially leadership.
At G’d Up Ministries, Eric is raising up a generation of bold, faith-filled leaders who are G’d Up—grounded in God and geared up to lead.
